Alex Koritz
Alex Koritz is the Public Relations Director for Sprout Marketing. He directs all PR activities, helping to create awareness, mindshare and revenue growth for all of Sprout’s clients. Prior to Sprout he was a Senior Associate with the New York-based PR firm, Coltrin & Associates. While at Coltrin he worked with a variety of clients in industries ranging from technology to healthcare and has played a lead role in driving product and corporate PR for such companies as 3Com, Control4 and Intermountain Health Care. Alex has also worked for the Salt Lake Organization Committee (SLOC) during the 2002 Winter Olympics; Salomon U.S.A., and as an independent consultant where he advised non-profit organizations such as Choice Humanitarian.
He is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and the Utah Technology Council (UTC), and is a writer and contributor to multiple marketing and business publications, including Connect and Utah Business, and authors a blog called Alex Koritz on Public Relations, Media, politics and Other Stuff. Alex holds an undergraduate degree in public relations from Utah State University.
